FAQs
What Clients
Ask Us
Is therapy right for me or how do I know if I need therapy?
If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, emotionally exhausted, need more clarity, or just want someone to talk to, therapy can help. You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from counseling. If something is affecting your quality of life, it matters. We help with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationships, and more.
Do you take insurance?
We do not currently accept insurance directly, but we provide superbills that you can submit to your provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We also offer sliding scale options in certain cases to ensure affordability. We never want cost to be the barrier to your healing. Your mental and emotional well-being is our priority, and we’re committed to working with you to make care accessible.
Do you offer faith-based counseling?
Yes. If you desire faith-based counseling, your faith can be a vital part of your healing journey. We meet you where you are. Our clinicians are trained to ethically integrate spiritual values into your sessions. We honor your beliefs and support your healing holistically.
How long does counseling take?
The length of counseling varies by person and concern. Some clients find clarity in a few sessions, while others may work through deeper issues over several months. Together, we’ll assess your goals and create a personalized plan to support your journey.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. We offer secure, HIPAA compliant virtual sessions for individuals, couples, and families. You can receive quality care from the comfort and privacy of your home.
What’s the difference between mental health counseling and life coaching?
Mental health counseling addresses emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges using evidence-based clinical approaches. Life coaching focuses on helping you achieve personal or professional goals, overcome blocks, and build momentum toward your future. At R3, we offer both and can help you determine what’s best for you.
Is what I say in therapy confidential?
Absolutely. Clinical confidentiality is protected by law and respected by every clinician. Your information will never be shared without your written consent, except in situations involving danger to yourself or others, or as required by law.
What should I expect in the first session?
Your first session is a safe, welcoming conversation. We’ll explore what brought you in, your goals, and your background. You’ll also have time to ask questions and ensure it feels like a good fit. No pressure, just connection.
What issues do you help with?
We support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, spiritual issues, identity concerns, life transitions, and more. Whether you’re in crisis or simply need clarity, we’re here to help.
Do you work with couples or families?
Yes. We offer counseling for couples, families, and individuals. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, working through conflict, or healing family wounds, we create a space where restoration is possible.
